
Our Saturday Bellydance Classes are cancelled until September!
All our bellydance classes are an hour long and are held at Wellness On The Green in Morristown NJ. Click here for directions, or click here to view the full studio schedule (including non-bellydance classes). Drop-ins are always welcome! The fee is $20 per class for a drop-in or $120 for 8 classes. You can give us a check or cash when you get to class or pay with credit card via PayPal (bring your PayPal receipt to class). Information for Bellydance Beginners
The classes suitable for absolute beginners are:
- Beginner Bellydance
- Beginner & Open Level Cabaret
- Beginner (ATS) (American Tribal Style) Bellydance
- Bollywood Dance
Bellydance Choreography & Bellydance Hip Hop Fusion: these classes are more fast paced than the ones listed above. Knowledge of bellydance basics is helpful in this class as the moves are not drilled or broken down extensively, but it is not required. If you are interested in learning complete routines and performing them (performance is NOT a requirement!!!) then this is the class for you!
Advanced Bellydance: Instructor's permission is required to enter into this class.
What To Wear To Bellydance Class
Wear yoga or stretchy pants that allow free movement - no jeans! - and a shirt or tank top that is not too loose (we want to be able to see your movements). You can wear a cropped top and bare your stomach if you choose, but most students do not. You can dance barefoot or with socks. Most students also wear coin belts or hip scarves, which are available to buy or borrow at class.
