Known for their eclectic and fun loving style the troupe continues to perform all over the United States as well as providing classes in both ATS and Fusion forms of the dance throughout Central and Northern New Jersey. Performances have included Rakkasah East, Spring Caravan, Tribal Fest, Relay for Live, Mamapalooza, college induction ceremonies, haflas, private functions including nursing homes, birthday parties, mother and new comers groups, church functions, restaurants and haflas.

Kimberly: Our Director: Kimberly has been dancing as far back as she can remember. Always finding joy in dance she has been studying ATS Tribal for eight years. A believer in expanding the format she continues to study the ATS and Fusion formats; as well as other forms of dance including ballet, jazz, hula, ECD and currently Flamenco. She has been a member of the troupe for six year and now teaches throughout the Central/Northern NJ area. In addition to her performances with Fringe Benefit Kimberly has performed on stage, the opera and in films. Besides teaching she has degrees in both US History and Theatre Arts in which she has ‘fused’ to create her own company that provides Living History Programs focusing on 18th century life.

Cerisa: Our Assistant Director, known to us as Lord Za, dance career started several years back in her native state of Utah. She has studied Cabaret as well as Tribal and is one our most gifted dancers. She is a choreographer for our troupe as well and continues to study other forms of the dance bringing a new vision with each performance. Shy in person, she is anything but on a dance floor and her veil work is utterly mesmerizing. Cerisa dances, therefore she is! She currently teaches Belly Dance in Lebanon Boro, New Jersey. |

Anne Marie: Our group cheerleader and all around social secretary began studying Tribal with Peg in 2002 and was immediately hooked. She has taken many belly dance workshops and has also been fortunate enough to receive training in several forms of belly dance from NJ's finest teachers. A troupe member since 2004, she is currently an Instructor in Flemington and does private classes also. Dancing is her passion and she considers being a part of Fringe Benefit an honor. She and Cerisa are co-owner/operators of www.njbellydancing.org your site for everything belly dance in New Jersey! |
